Nemesis Plot Event?

Hi.

 

Could we, as players, have a way to spawn this event?  If not, can the devs schedule one and post it in the Events section of the forums so we know when it's coming?

Rejoice, for this is in the works!

The current plan is to have these invasions trigger when a player finishes the final mission of Signature Story Arc 2, Part 5.

This is an annual event saved for a specific date and time that players must attend. This is really no different from the Christmas events, you have to be online and participate in the event to get credit for it. 

 

However could I be convinced that the Nemesis raid isn't tied too strictly to anything for the date it is released on and could become a public event? Yes. I don't find anything in the event to be that significant honestly. I believe that it could be done from time to time (like zombie apoc's but not as frequent).
