With the servers being down, I decided to go back into Champions Online and remind myself of the costume editor there.  I really appreciate the greater number of options and materials, but no matter what I do, the characters' faces always look "plasticy" or toy-like.  While CoX's models aren't perfect by any means, they definitely look more realistic, IMO...

 

Here's an example, (I will say this much - I greatly appreciate the green-screen room in the tailor, there):

Looks like they've improved the hands somewhat over at Champions.   I know the CoH "mittens" have taken a lot of flack over the years, but they're worlds better than those hideous claws that CO used for hands for their opening decade.

I was in on some of earliest pre release stuff and that was my take away

as well, lots of options and everything looks like glossy plastic.
