What is cohplanner and DataLink?

Usually when people try to show what their build looks like I see two links. First is the www.cohplanner.com link and the other one is Click This DataLink to Open The Build!. What are they actually? I clicked both of them but still seem lost. Are they charts or something?

They hold data for Mids Reborn Hero Planner.  If you have the app they will let you plan/modify and build your powersets offline so that you can more effectively do a respec or level up the way you want.

The first one takes you to the planner site so you can download site if you do not have the planner and the second one lets you load that build into your planner.

I've already downloaded the Mid's Hero and Villain Designer. I can see there are datas that I am instructed to Copy and Paste into the Designer to view the build. At which section of the Designer should I copy the data into?I can't find a suitable "box" or paste option.

Found how to open

After you copy the data block, there is an option to import it. You don't need to paste. It should be under the second menu option from the left IRC.
