Perhaps a stupid question but : why farm missions are "fire" ?

I think one of the main reason is that the "fire" powers have a lot of damage auras and AOE attacks in them, so they make a good choice for powersets for farming. They also have powers that make it pretty easy to max out fire defense and resistance which is needed in order to farm effectively.

Fire attacks don't carry debuffs that would disrupt the farmer's defensive matrix or slow their harvest.  The farmer itself can be anything from a basic Fire Armor brute to a Elec Armor tank, even a blaster or corruptor.  45% fire (or positional) defense, maximized fire resistance, and go.  Your regen and defenses won't be stripped, your heals will recharge like normal.

Many thanks for your answers, i didn't usually get into those optimizations until end levels 😉

My kind of gameplay is to enjoy and learn to play the arch until last levels then go for opti 😛
