I rolled this Savage/Rad and she's been a lot of fun, level 25 so far.  I noticed one thing though.  Soloing even-level Striga mobs I die... every time.  I've heard that Resist based sets are not as good as defense based sets on stalkers, is this what is causing my problems?

Another question that I have, should I slot Stalker's Guile into Assassin's Frenzy, or  is Assassin's Mark the better choice to go in there?

What this team needs is more Defenders

Particle Shielding is your go-to mitigation, you get that at 28, you're almost there so keep at it, with proper slotting Particle Shielding will be up basically all the time, use it a lot and you'll survive much better.  Resist based sets are fine on stalkers but not optimal, they can still be built to solo +4x8 content.  I challenge the notion that because Rad Armor has high resists it is a resist based set, it is definitely a layered mitigation set and therefore you should rely on your heal/regen/absorb to do some of the work rather than relying on the passive toggled resists to do all the heavy lifting.

 

You might want to replace one of your recharge IO's in Build Up into the Gaussian's proc, it's pretty sick combined with your ATO proc.

 

To echo an earlier post I made somewhere else:

Stalker's Guile proc should go into Assassin's Strike, this is the only reasonable place for it.  It's up to you if you want to put the rest of the set there, depends on your set bonus needs or if you want to add more procs to your AS.

 

Assassin's Mark you can get away with putting just about anywhere, I tend to pick an attack that doesn't have a more optimal slotting opportunity (for example if you used the purple set for another same type attack and don't have something else comparable to put there but need the recharge for the build). An easy solution is to put Assassin's Mark into your first attack or something like that.

As Dark Dove wrote, Guile goes into Assassin's Strike.  I tweaked your slots and sets, got you hard capped to SLE, perma-Particle Shield.  Traded Meltdown for Weave, which gets you soft capped to all positions while Shadow Melded.
