roleki Posted December 30, 2021 Posted December 30, 2021 Long question short, am I imagining things, or do I really get more Critical Strikes/Critical hits running +2 (or more) than I do +1? Or, put another way, COD shows I have a 5% chance to crit vs. minions and 10% vs everything else; when you throw in level-shifts and all that, does notoriety +2 (or more) 'promote' minions into the 10% chance to crit? Or does the combat engine still recognize them as minions no matter what level they are relative to mine, and I am just imagining that I get more crits running 2/8? CEOs come and go, and one just went/The ingredients you got bake the cake you get
InvaderStych Posted December 30, 2021 Posted December 30, 2021 Other than ATOs and powers with increased base crit chance, GD in Katana, for example - crit chance should just be based on rank, not relative level. A few more hits/swings/rolls on +2s vs +1s would be the only thing I could think of that would give the appearance of more crits/spawn. But that's not even remotely definitive or scientific, just a hunch. You see a mousetrap? I see free cheese and a f$%^ing challenge.

This would be my guess. Crits are of course inherently swingy too. Actually when you have the 50% crits proc you have swings within swings. Sometimes a good run can seem to chain a constant stream of crits and sometimes they dry up completely. Happiness is good uptime on the 50% crits proc! 1 1
