Won't allow me to open Island Rum

Hey all,

 

I played COH for 5 years back in the past. I went to rejoin recently and sadly discovered it is no longer active. But, I saw Homecoming and got excited! Problem, I just bought a new iMAC and it won't allow the opening of Island Rum. It says to contact the developer as it cannot check for malicious software. I kept my older MAC and tried on it. It would let me open it BUT it is too old to download Safari on it. I would really love to play again. But, alas I am stuck.

 

WOuld anyone be able to provide assistance?

The newer versions of the Island Rum were supposed to take those into consideration, but I left them in for reference. BTW, I think Monterey 12.4 is out as well, so you probably have a system update (that shouldn't relate to the issue). I'm surprised no one else has chimed in yet on this, but based on your description, it sounds like you're getting the message shown in Step 1. If that's the case, then make sure to follow those step to proceed.
