Updated TRAPDOOR test 5:51 mins -- Build included ULTIMATE DMG CONTROLLER -- Plant/Storm Controller -

Reviewing the log, I only used one green inspiration -- thought I used more.  I also fired off Ageless for endurance and recovery twice, since the build has very high end usage.  I'll try again and see how I do without Ageless and (hopefully) w/o inspirations.

UPDATE July 20th --  Last test I only had 3 incarnates and the three were only at T3. Changed enhancements on Roots as well, and the hold.

UPDATE, June 29th  -- I am including yet another video:  TRAPDOOR TEST.  It's the 2nd video, right in the middle.
First video test was vs Cimerorans, I did not use Judgement, neither Lore Pets, nor Hybrid (don't have it) I did the same test on my dominator. The Controller with Storm is just too much AoE dmg and if the Storm pets solo a single target, the dmg is too strong.

T3 Destiny, Alpha, and Interface.
No inspirations used at all.
Beat my plant dominator in this test, who had all T4s, specifically the ones used by my Plant/Storm.

Video 1) against the Mez resistant Cimerorans, no inspirations, max difficulty.  (main test for me)

Video 2) ITF, most importantly the deadliest part of the ITF, which is the second part in the caves, but some of part 1 and 3 is included.
Also in video 2, solo mission no inspirations, no deaths, no temps, and so on.

A few notes about the build --
1. 02 Boost is needed in two-man or three-man teams with other squishies who have or don't bring any mez protection especially for part 4 of the ITF.  This is for special cases when I am going to be teaming with another plant/storm too.

2. I need my resistances as high as I can manage to these types :
A. Smashing
B. Lethal
C. Energy
D. Neg Energy
These are the dmg types found in ITF.  I take special care in selecting IOs if they bring NEG dmg resistance to the build.

3. I have HASTEN with only 4 seconds downtime, so 4 seconds short of permanent,  outside of Force Feed proc, or outside of Ageless, with either of these two things, it's permanent hasten.

4. I can have 3 lightning storms.
5. I can have 2 Tornadoes

6. Hibernate is very good since I play at difficulty levels that can manage to put me in a situation to need it (watch video) I don't use inspirations.  The game is too easy with inspirations, and I don't like easy.  That's not how I enjoy the game.
It's difficult or it's not played.

A GOOD NOTE on the proc , Build UP proc, which I placed on Lightning Storm.
If you see the video, the proc rate is excellent for LS because LS is already on a long recharge.
Build up for the whole character is nice.

Some others in other threads have spoken about taking burn out to increase Tornado and LS numbers and not taking hurricane.  Was your choices more to get your set bonuses with a focus towards your resistances and defenses vs any potential damage additions that burn out could've employed?

To take Burnout, you need additional picks from the Speed pool.

There are not enough power picks for me to do that.

Also, invest 2 more additional speed pool powers for just a test??

I am using a build I use all the time for a lot of other content, hard mode content.

There are builds to just take a test and there are builds to do everything else.

Feel me ?

Thank you for your response.   If I understand what you're saying correctly, you're saying that because you're doing these  Trapdoor tests on live with builds you've already specifically made for use with other game play usages that burn out's use for a Trapdoor test in this capacity isn't a viable consideration.

I wonder then if such was played around with on the beta test server (if they still let you set up anything as they used to... not been on there in ages), what you conjecture would be the results?  Would a burnout build you'd craft be considerably more effective due to your depth of knowledge of builds and choices or would it be not demonstratively significant in differences?

You see, I don't do builds for testing.
There are many players who make builds specifically to take these tests.

I don't do that.

So, to answer the question... with another question, "Effective for what, to do what?"

To do what I do in game, not viable since not enough power slots for me.

Sorry.  I had misunderstood then per this response that the thread was about Trapdoor tests from the title and that's why I'd framed the questions and comments as such. I misunderstood and was simply conjecturing what a build around burnout's function would do since I'd read in other threads people's use of burnout to get more ls etc out of it.  I understand that's not your intent since you're saying your builds are more for purposes that as well happen to be viable for the tests and videos you're making otherwise.

Again sorry for asking questions on things.

You don't have to apologize so much, friend.

To clear up, this is indeed about the Trapdoor test.  The Trapdoor test was taken with a build I use for general gaming.
So I did take the test with just a build that was not made specifically or solely to take the test.

If I took the test with a build solely for the Trapdoor then perhaps some changes were to be done.

@Voltak the posted build has Afterburner as a power pick (at least for me) - I assume you replaced that with Evasive Maneuvers?

Also - does that Soulbound Allegiance proc actually fire in Tornado?  I never see any buildup except from Lightning Storm in my buffs list, nor in my Pet Damage window on Brainstorm.  After some experimentation, I kept seeing the Overwhelming Force, Achilles' Heel, Touch of Lady Grey, and Force Feedback procs firing the most in Tornado (Shield Breaker Lethal didn't seem to fire ever, nor Soulbound Allegiance), along with Apocalypse and Force Feedback in Lightning Storm (again - nothing from Gladiator's Javelin).  The Decimation Build Up proc did fire every time LS was summoned, but only on summon.

Could Touch of Lady Grey be canceling out Shield Breaker?  And Apocalypse for Gladiator's Javelin?  If that's a thing that's happening - maybe my other procs are canceling Soulbound Allegiance?

I guess this calls for more testing.

Correct, the power is now called "Evasive Maneuvers".

Yes , the proc works , it works for the pet, not for you.  The proc was made for pets.

Also, the BU proc in LS is exactly for me, and that's how I want it.  The BU presents a dmg buff to you.
I see the dmg from Tornado increase after I placed the proc.
TOrnado is a weird pet, a pseudo pet.
It won't behave like Flytrap.

I think your other procs are cancelling.
