Zappalina
Hi, just a bit of information on mythology, and I definitely could have missed how Sister A is a visiting Valkyrie to Cimerora somewhere From CoH Lore: "Players step foot upon the ancient land of the Roman Cimeroran Peninsula, where they battle deadly creatures, defend an ancient city and ultimately come face to face with the enemy of time itself. Throughout this journey players uncover the mysteries of power and the origins that guide them today. Cimerora itself is a peninsula in the ancient Mediterranean that was formerly controlled by the King/Emperor Imperious. However somewhat in its recent ancient history, one of Imperious' men named Romulus Augustus usurped power from Imperious and took the throne for himself. Using powers and aid from an unknown dark entity, Romulus has summoned ancient beasts, legions of men, and erected a single great fort over the majority of the land where he plans to constantly strike against the gallant Imperious." Finale is titled Ride of the Valkyrie; Valkyrie, also spelled Walkyrie, Old Norse Valkyrja (“Chooser of the Slain”), in Norse mythology, any of a group of maidens who served the god Odin and were sent by him to the battlefields to choose the slain who were worthy of a place in Valhalla. Hel (Old Norse Hel, “Hidden;” pronounced like the English word “Hell”) is the most general name for the underworld where many of the dead dwell. It's presided over by a fearsome goddess whose name is also Hel. Norse mythology is the body of mythology practised in Scandinavia (Norway, Sweden and Denmark) DIfferent underworld/hades/versions of Christian "Hell" https://www.britannica.com/topic/hell/Greece-and-Rome starting with Greece/Rome covers a few different ones at this link though.
Rudra
It's probably just a reference to her being the ancient version of Valkyrie of the Vindicators. (Edit: And since your character is presumably not a native of Cimerora or the old Norse, using a more modern response like "To hell and beyond, if need be!" makes sense as a possible character response. Otherwise the response would need to reference Hades [as place rather than god], Tartarus [which was both prison in Hades and name of the greatest titan imprisoned there], or possibly Elysium if you earned your place by not needing eternal punishment for your life's transgressions.) Developer The Caretaker Posted August 31, 2022 Developer Share Posted August 31, 2022 Actually, Norse reference is intentional. Won't say more on the subject in case it doesn't come to pass in the future. 1 There comes a time in which all stories must come to an end. It's a shame, hero, that you and your people aren't writing the end of yours. We've taken it upon ourselves to be the author of this universe's story, and your chapter will be added to the ever-growing story of how we dictated the path for all life.
