Council Goliath War Walker GM

Hey!

 

I'm curious to see if anyone experiencing an issue with the Goliath War Walker GM in Boomtown? Its regen is really high, I wonder if it's bugged?

 

We did defeated the generator (assuming there is only one generator).

 

My team is packed with (de)buffs and DPS.

 

Two Scrappers.

One Tank

Two (lv50) Thermals (Both buffs and debuffs)

One Rad

Two Kins

One Nature

 

The DPS might been a little low but with that tons of debuffs, shouldn't we able to kill him within minutes?

I haven't had any issue with this on Everlasting, supposing the generator is down, but it is still a war walker giant monster. What level were the DPS? Low level DPS can be sk'd up to 50 to fight a GM, but if they don't have all of their tools, it doesn't really matter.

Two Scrappers, the Tank, Rad, One Kin, Two Thermals are lv50s. Nature, (that's me) was lv42.

To add another data point here:

 

We just did this as a league of 12 on Torchbearer, because a single team of 8 didn't have enough critical mass to bring him down, even with Lores out.

 

The generator was taken out.

 

We managed to finish him off, slowly, but leaguemates only got merits, not the badge.

 

It seems like it's tuned for 16, but with the badge award being restricted to the main team there's going to be a disincentive for people to run it when it spawns.

I was on the team of 8, do you recall the makeup of your 12? I'm actively posting about this on facebook and people are saying they took it down duo 50's and smaller than 8 person teams. I can't recall the levels on my team.  Find it hard to believe even with some low levels that many people couldn't put it down faster.

I was on a team of six that took it down within a couple of minutes.  I forget exactly what our composition was.  I know I was on my Rad/Rad Brute, and I'm pretty sure that we had a Blaster.  I do know that we were all on decked out level 50s and Incarnated out the wazoo though.

Yes I'm seeing plenty of people saying small team or duo if you are incarnate, what server are you on?

On Torchbearer, a group of five or six players who'd just demolished Babbage attacked it.  Not only did we fail to take it down, I don't think we ever made its health move perceptibly.
