Whats the Go-to Interface Incarn today?

From what I understood Degen or Daimag was the Go-to back in live and just when the game came back a few years ago. Has anything changed? Does it really matter which I choose anymore? I chose Degen to kill Elite Bosses/AVs regens to practially nothing. But Diamag was all purpose good against all mobs. Im not really sure which to choose as a DB/Rad scrap but I was thinking of just going different for fun.

If you're looking for something different, why not try Cognitive for a small chance to confuse + big chance for DoT (Psi). I tried this + Control Hybrid and it's funly funny 😃
You could also go for Reactive for Fire DoT which goes well with the Rad thematic (radiation burns) or Spectral for a Nega-nergy DoT.

Degenerative core (-HP) and Reactive core (-res) are generally the most desirable, however, they are very popular and there's a limit of 4 stacks. I've been leaning toward the radial DoT abilities (which allow 8 stacks), focusing on the 3 that have higher damage (Reactive, Spectral and Preemptive). I've tried Diamagnetic but haven't been particularly impressed. I have multiple Interface abilities crafted on many of my characters.

I've been waiting for the motivation to try this out.  I always assumed for absolutely no good reason that the Control Hybrid damage to controlled enemies only worked on control than came directly from control powers that you cast, but looking at City of Data (all hail Uberguy) it looks like it works on any control from any source, including procs, incarnates, other players, small beagles, wherever.  Learned something new!
