Munitions Mastery Animations question

Does munition mastery just use the Rifle of the Assault Rifle to deploy?

 

I am asking because I am experimenting with "green army man" ideas and I want a full green look, not having a late game unchangeable rifle pop in where it is most annoying.  Thanks

Yes and no. You have the option to select a specific rifle for your Munitions power. If the choice is available (haven't checked since the last flurry of updates) you can very well have the same weapon for your AR powers and Munitiions powers.

You get an additional rifle costume power thingy for it.  So you can in fact have a green rifle
