The Men options for testing an AE mission before being published are greyed out. Why?

  Why isnt the option menu available when testing an AE mission before starting? Toggle Invisibility, Invincible, Kill Target, Next Objective, Next Enemy are all greyed out

This is something that has happened to me on a couple of occasions. I still don’t know the reason for it, but it just sort of went away the next time I logged in.

I know certain maps have issues if you move away from the entrance.  My experience has been to open the mini-map and if all the markers for mob placement arent shown then the testing options dont work.  Since i play with the map open almost all the time,  ive seen the markers disappear when i move away from the entrance and reappear when i move back.  The options greyed out and became available again when i moved back as well.
