Why has no one told me about pluto.tv? It rivals shoutfactorytv.com for vintage TV!

I had no idea such a thing existed!

It has a channel that plays old Doctor Who (1st-7th Doctor) episodes 24/7.

It skips all the incomplete stories (no recons, telesnaps, or animated episodes*) but is still pretty amazing fun for no money!

 

Unlike Shout, it is dealer's choice, not on demand, but still wonderful background entertainment. It has ads -- usually for other Pluto channels -- but not egregious amounts. They're just a bit strange in the timing. (I suspect an AI inserts the breaks.)

It's rather like PBS in the good old days, without the fundraising guilt marathons.

Other channels run Mission:Impossible, Addams Family, Twilight Zone, and Bob Ross.

 

Anyway, my friends have been keeping this a secret, so I thought I'd share.

I haven't really bothered with the Pluto TV yet, I don't know if it has commercials like Shout or the CW app have.

 

But when it comes down to it, I'm too busy with City of Heroes when I'm down in front of a video screen these days... in the game or here in the forums.
