Fire/Sonic anyone try this?

I tried sonic/sonic and didn’t seem to go well together with the cones and aura. Leveling fire/fire now and don’t really like /fire. Thinking of giving fire/sonic a whirl. Anyone done this and have any comments or suggestions?  I like both melee from /sonic so will be blapping to do those and get the -resist going from sonic aura I imagine.

Made one pre-page 5 changes, didn't like it much so i never really went back and took a good look at the build to fix stuff. Got a bit bored of fire blast, i much prefer elec, sonic secondary isn't one of my favourites i always prefer the non-absorb recovery powers in the blaster secondaries. Trying rad/sonic at the moment as well. Still undecided.

I have a seismic/sonic blaster that works well. It seemed like a thematic pairing. I typically play in in melee range though to make use of my disruption field, as I'm flattening mobs with meteora.
