Papias Posted July 1, 2023 Posted July 1, 2023 Please make the two missions for the Escapist Badge available at level 25 instead of level 50 in Ouroboros.
Rudra Posted July 1, 2023 Posted July 1, 2023 (edited) Those missions are available as early as level 20, but can be gained as late as level 50 if you find a way to avoid getting them until then. And Ouroboros tracks the missions/arcs for the latest they can be done. Which either fortunately or unfortunately is level 50. (Edit: Otherwise they would need to be level capped at level 25 and that would mean Praetorians going to First Ward and then Night Ward would be locked out of them except in Ouroboros. And Ouroboros cannot change your alignment to the best of my knowledge. Which means those Praetorians would not be able to team up with or do Primal Earth, red side or blue side, content.) I cannot get them on my non-Praetorian character until level 50, even if I do all the Praetorian arcs through Ouroboros. This is what I am saying needs fixing. Edited July 8, 2023 by Papias
Rudra Posted July 8, 2023 Posted July 8, 2023 (edited) There is no combat reward from either of those missions. And if I remember correctly, they don't give mission completion rewards either. Their purpose is to change Praetorian alignments to Primal alignments so the Praetorian characters can start doing red-side/blue-side content and teaming with red-side/blue-side characters. Something your non-Praetorian character can already do. Not to be a nuisance, but what would changing the level at which non-Praetorian characters can access those missions in Ouroboros accomplish? Especially in light of how much it would handicap Praetorian characters if the mission levels were set at 25 so they could be run through Ouroboros at level 25 by non-Praetorians. (Edit: Because again, doing the mission through Ouroboros does not change the character's alignment to the best of my knowledge. Meaning any Praetorian character that opts to go First Ward/Night Ward would wind up forever locked.) Edited July 8, 2023 by Rudra

(Praetorian or otherwise) Probably wouldn't be a stretch to make the mission available earlier via Ouro since I think there are a couple non-praetorian missions that are available. Well, maybe not. Lost and Found (12.01) from Montague is available at level 10 normally, but is only available under the level 50 division via Ouro if you have already done it. I just checked with a level 24 that had done it and it's listed to repeat. My level 33 that hasn't done does not have it available. iirc, if my Praetorian did the escape mission, they had it available via Ouro there as well. Only reason to repeat it would be to chat with the various people you interacted with via the Preatoria missions, and those appear depending on which arcs you go on, Loyalist, Resistance, or if you go to Paragon or the Rogue Isles. 1
lemming Posted July 9, 2023 Posted July 9, 2023 Just tested to see what would happen if I tried choosing Rogue Isles as a Hero and it did the "Zoning to Sharkhead" and then went "Nope, off to Atlas with you" So definitely no alignment changes or weirdness even. 1

So yeah, that would mean if those missions were level capped at level 25 so they would appear in the 25-29 range of Ouroboros, then Praetorian characters that opt to go to First Ward and then Night Ward rather than immediately jump Primal would forever be locked as only able to do gold-side content. Thanks for taking the time to check all that. Edit: Also, yes, any content you completed shows up in Ouroboros as available for you to do even if that mission is listed as being too high in level for you in the Ouroboros list. So even if you are level 22 and you want to repeat a mission but Ouroboros says it is level 50, you can still select it and run it with no problems at all. (And it would run at your current level, not level 50.) Edited July 9, 2023 by Rudra

Your level 33 that hasn't completed the arc can do so by going straight to Montague. I've done it as high as level 49.

Either by walking up to him or using find contact. 1 1
