ceto555 Posted June 16, 2019 Posted June 16, 2019 Hiya folks, I'm looking to make a katana brute for solo leveling missions to max level, then maybe join some group/raids here and there. What will give me the easiest time? I was thinking Super Reflexes, but I'm open to suggestions. Thanks!
Without_Pause Posted June 17, 2019 Posted June 17, 2019 Easiest time might go to /wp. Toggle up and go. Divine Avalanche helps /wp. Top 10 Most Fun 50s. 1. Without Mercy: Claws/ea Scrapper. 2. Outsmart: Fort 3. Sneakers: Stj/ea Stalker. 4. Emma Strange: Ill/dark Controller. 5. Project Next: Ice/stone Brute. 6. Waterpark: Water/temp Blaster. 6. Mighty Matt: Rad/bio Brute. 7. Without Hesitation: Claws/sr Scrapper. 8. Within Reach: Axe/stone Brute. 9. Without Pause: Claws/wp Brute. 10. Chasing Fireworks: Fire/time Controller. "Downtime is for mortals. Debt is temporary. Chance Jackson Posted June 17, 2019 Posted June 17, 2019 I would say to go for any Damage Aura resistance set which imo have the most to gain from positional def granting Parry type powers
jack_nomind Posted June 17, 2019 Posted June 17, 2019 The issue is the easiest sets to level (especially early on) aren't really the sets with the best final performance. Towards the end, the best-performing Katana pairings are Dark, Radiation, and maybe Electric. They're all resist-based sets that can be built for positional defense; Radiation and Electric both offer +recharge, which Katana very much wants, while Dark offers Cloak of Shadows which is basically a second copy of Weave and Cloak of Fear which is a tohit debuff. They all also benefit from an overall high-recharge build. But the easiest sets to level with are going to be Super Reflexes, Willpower, Energy Aura, and maybe Invulnerability (levels out by the 20s). These all synergize a little bit with Katana in some way, but can be tough to build out to their best performance with Kat/. The overall 'easiest' is maybe SR, but it depends a little on playstyle. No-Set Builds: Tanker Scrapper Brute Stalker
