I have Hover, Evasive Maneuvers, and the Hypersonic: -Fly Res special, and I am STILL getting -Fly'd by ONE Arachnos Lieutenant's Web Grenade. WTF?? These numbers need to be rebalanced so there's a POINT to these powers. Alternatively, just remove -Fly Resistance from the game, since it clearly doesn't work. Rudra Posted November 15, 2023 Posted November 15, 2023 (edited) I don't know about -Fly resistance working or not, but I have learned that if I stay more than about 10 feet off the ground, those web grenades don't do anything to me unless it comes from a Toxic Tarantula. (30 feet seems to be the safe point for TTs.) Edit: Also, Arachnos web grenades are flagged as unresistable. So -Fly resist isn't going to affect their web grenades. Just have to try to be high enough for them to not affect you. (Edit again: https://cod.uberguy.net/html/power.html?power=v_arachnos.wolf_spider_web_grenade.web_grenade) Edit again: Maybe the altitude was 30 feet and 50 feet respectively? Not sure. Hypersonic's Fly Protection is mag 2, but is -fly even working on magnitude? Seismic Blast's -fly is -160%, as is the -fly in Air Superiority. For comparison, the 20% chance for teleport protection in Gladiator's armor is -100% teleport distance. Edited November 17, 2023 by PoptartsNinja
