ApistoNate Posted June 4 Posted June 4 Hi, I’m looking for some opinions on the Spines and Bio-Armor power sets for Scrappers. what would you say the primary goal is for each set? I am looking to create a build based around this set and it seems like dmg resist/regen is the main focus of bio-armor while DoT/DMG output is the goal for spines. What would you consider to be the goal of each set and how would you build around it. Just looking for some suggestions. Thanks in advance!
arcane Posted June 4 Posted June 4 Spines goal is AoE damage. Bio goal is mitigation through rotating absorbs and extra offense through +dmg, -res, and proc bomb DNA Siphon.
Thraxen Posted June 5 Posted June 5 Both really benefit from high recharge and perma hasten. Generally on teaming the toggles will keep ya up and running. Pop absorb shield before ya need it. Takes a bit of getting used to but it’s mostly before avs or when crystals blow up etc. I use the heal as a heal and not proc bomb. I should probably give it a shot though. Eviscerate or whatever spines is called has two animations now. So you get plenty of aoe without sacrificing a heal for another one. I did say I hardly use it as well. I may not know what I’m talking about. I like putting the good ato proc in one of the damage auras. It goes off a lot and spam aoes when it does. I just respect him not too long ago if ya want to take a look at build. Just let me know. On phone so can’t share it now.
Yomo Kimyata Posted June 5 Posted June 5 Bio is a really broad and powerful set. You can take it in a lot of directions. Spines has -recharge baked into almost every power, and it is very AoE oriented. Who run Bartertown?
