Hello Everyone

 

I'm new to Mids Reborn and to a level 50 character for that matter that I actually would like to kit out and take all the way.  This Brute will not be a Fire Farmer, but will be used for 54 Content, ITF's, PL'ing Coalition Members, Raids, that sort of thing.  I was definitely looking to hit the S/L cap which I've done but being my 1st build, I was hoping to get some input from the community and let me know If I'm going in the right direction.  Go easy on me I'm sure I've made tons of mistakes.  Thanks in advance!

I try to aim for softcap melee def but without any protection against def reduction I think your build looks great. Solid resists + regen can get you very far.

 

Stacked rage is incredible if you can get the recharge, just beware of the defense penalty during the crash.

I have a /Bio brute and I can say that with enough regen you don't need maxed out anything. I've not built a /WP yet but look into Spaghetti Betti, I think that's her handle. She can absolutely put together a great regen build and then do things with it no one else can. 

 

My dude heals through everything. I've put him up against everything. I can fire farm with him, S/L farm with him. Run general content...pretty much anything, maybe that's just Bio, don't know, but your build, defensively looks solid. You may find that you can get away with less and bump your DPS up more. You just need to get to 50, get incarnates and see what might need adjusting.

I love SS/WP Brutes.  When they came out Redside they were the answer to all my issues.  Having said that, the game is older now.

 

Just my 2 inf here.  With an (Expensive!) Hyperstrike build, a SS/Invul will do everything a SS/Will Brute will do, and a lot more.
