Adding an ally

Is there any way of adding an ally to a mission at the entrance, without having to rescue them first?
Thanks in advance.

Depends on the map unfortunately.   You can add an ally as a hostage with no enemies and tell it to load in the front, but it will be in one of the front loading spots.  Some maps might have just one spot, others, front may be nearly anywhere.

If you set the map enemies to empty, then set the ally surrounding group to empty (and then “single” if it appears), they will be auto-rescued. You’ll then just need to go to them to pick them up and have them follow.

as for your map, you can populate with patrols, bosses, destroy object, etc.

I have done a TON of AE work, both long form and single arc. Just search the AE mish list for my sig @cranebump. For more information on my stories, head to the AE forum sub-heading and look for “Crane’s World.” Support your AE authors! We ARE the new content.

Thanks! It would appear that I have a bit of experimentation to look forward to.

This is how it works for everything in AE, 1% inspiration, 99% experimentation
