DrRocket
This is just a Quality of Living recommendation With the rise in popularity for Hamy being done in both zones, and each zone does have a safe "landing" zone that also serves as a hospital, there is frankly no logical reason to not have base portals to these two zones, that I can think of. Other former hazard zones, such as Crey's folly has a base portal for instance. Any thoughts on this, and as usual please make this a learning opportunity for me Thank you
Glacier Peak
What is this Quality of Life suggestion trying to address? It's not inconvenient for a player to travel from Grandville, Monster Island, Port Oakes, Sharkhead Isle, or Kallisti Wharf (and Independence Port, Peregrine Island, or Striga Isle for Rogues, Vigilantes, and Heroes) via the Smugglers Submarine to go to the Abyss. And Eden has its own SG teleport beacon that drops players close to the Hive entrance. 1 I lead weekly Indom Badge Runs / A newer giant monster guide by Glacier Peak / A tour of Pocket D easter eggs! / Arena All-Star Accolade Guide! lemming
I'm OK with more base portal locations, though I would like one for each LRTP destination first.

Actually multi zoning to get to an end location, is inconvenient, of course we all have opinions

You base portal to Eden and you use the gate that is almost right there where you appear to get to the Hive. You pop into Grandville and the sub is almost right there by the ferry to take you to the Abyss. The way the base portals work, it very much looks like they are meant to provide a means of getting to zones with missions and mission givers to me. I say that because we had our access to the Echo zones removed from base portal access. And there are no missions or mission givers in either the Abyss or the Hive. Just as I typed that line, I thought of "Abandoned Sewer System" which would be technically 3. Since City Zone, then Sewers, then Abandoned. Other than that, there isn't anywhere outside the LRTP, LFG, and Base Portals you can't go in two hops or less.

And a player can always choose to add zones to their journey for whatever reason.

Echo zones, Winter Holiday Zone, Fall Holiday Zone, Talos Lua, that's about all I could come up with besides the Hive. Ouro->Echo 2 Winter Holiday does take 3, since Pocket D->Ski->Winter (At least non-winter holiday time, during you can go direct from anywhere with LRTP or Tunnel) Harvest & Spooky Halloween are two since you just talk to Null. (Either to get Commuter Dayjob for Praetorians) Talos Lua is no longer a separate area since it's now in Talos proper.
