Can this old build be updated please

Hi, this build is my 350+Vet lvl farmer. The build is from when we got our beloved game back so is old!

It still does what I want, mainly levelling my own chars but I am asking if the wise heads builders could check it over and suggest any changes that may improve/update it to handle all the changes we have had? I simply do not have the knowledge of the build system to do a self critique. Thanks guys.

Above poster has already pointed you in the right direction for up-to-date farming conversations.

The short version is that /Fire Brutes can still do OK at active farming (where you're actively piloting them and clicking things) but they can't really AFK farm any more unless you go all-in on +Regen (this is because of changes to how enemies beyond the "aggro cap" behave - they now shoot at you so farmers have to withstand substantially more incoming damage); and they'll also be soundly eclipsed in farming speed by almost any Tanker worth their salt (this is mainly because of the changes to Gauntlet where AoEs on Tankers get a wider radius and a higher target cap).

Realistically your original build should still be able to Fire farm but it'll require a smidge more effort than before not to die.

The only dedicated farming Brute I still use these days is a non-Granite RM/Stone; but last time I took a crack at "an all-round Spines/FA that can also farm" I came up with the below:

Great info from @Without_Pause and @Maelwys.  The major change to fire farming is the -def that many of the fire attacks now include.  There are farming maps that *don't* include the -def, but I don't have a list.  I still use @Big Gotter's tunnel farming maps, with great success.

Speaking of maps, do a search for Page 5 in AE and that will likely steer you in the direction of the ones without -Def. Servers are down so I can't offer up any I like. I like to duo box, so I'm a fan of the tunnel maps. Post Page 5, I know there is one map where I can do a run without even hitting my heal.

 

To add, mine is Rad/fire and has never been updated to Page 5. I'm likely just missing out on squeezing out more speed.
