Display Name Posted October 8 Posted October 8 This sounds like it's going to be too complicated to implement. Even before I ask for it. Is it possible to change the Zone Event announcements to accommodate for the number of instances of the zone it occurs in? For instance, we had a zombie invasion occur in PI 2. However, the announcement simply said "PI" instead of saying "PI 2." With as many as 4 instances of PI that has occurred over the last few days, this would make things a bit easier. 2 1 @Super Whatsit Superbase passcode (Excelsior) is "passcode-6475" It's all a Nemesis plot. But not everything is a Nemesis plot!
Techwright Posted October 8 Posted October 8 It does seem like it would be an obvious choice. I mean, our portals can show clear distinction of which zone instance is which, so why not the announcements? 1
Display Name Posted October 9 Author Posted October 9 (edited) As a programmer, I can appreciate the problem. First, you have to detect how many zone instances there are. Assuming this is even possible (announcements are not the same as portals,) then you have to isolate which instance has the event. Psyonico Posted October 9 Posted October 9 My understanding is the /whereami command will tell you which instance of a zone you are in, I would think that detection method could be extrapolated to the zone event messages. What this team needs is more Defenders
