I have been away for several months.  When I came back yesterday, I noticed that the Global Friends list tab no longer shows what servers people are on.  Am I misremembering?  Or what changed and why?

(I tried searching the forums, but the posts that came up did not appear relevant.)

I believe you have to click the little arrow that faces right in the bottom right corner of your friends window.

Doing this from memory though, so I might be wrong.

select global on your friends window and then expand the window... using the little arrow on the bottom right of the window. 🙂

And even when you expand it once, then logout it defaults back to the don't show server and other detail option. So you need to click the arrow when you next do it. Even though the window will remain the size you expanded it to.

Thanks folks.  I forgot about expanding the window with the arrow.  I resized it by dragging from the side, but when that didn't do anything I posted here.

When someone logs off in a mission or a PVP zone (not meant to be an exhaustive list) then they still show up on the global list but they won't have a status or shard.  It's easy to distinguish this state.
