blarf can kill you even when you are gull incarnate

pretty much what the title says... if get the blarf to follow you and then you ask null the gull to make you more powerful, granting you gull incarnate, normally you are totally helpless, but you can still pet the blarf. if you pet the blarf too much, it will still kill you.

 

which ultimately implies that the blarf is more powerful than null the gull!!!

I think that is by design. Since Null the Gull only buffs you, not renders you unkillable. (Sure, you get +1000% damage resist, but if damage is unresistable, untyped, or is set to simply set your health to 0; then you're still going to die.)

that makes sense, an i agree. but i am not sure that this is working as intended.

I was under the impression that Blarf was supposed to kill you so you can get the badge.  Am I missing something more to this?

yes, but... when you have gull incarnate you are supposed to be completely helpless, it's actually 500mag immobilize, and you do not have access to anything whille in that state.

Blarf has a very large HP debuff when combined with the DOT defeats anything.   (Hami is glad Blarf is confined to Pocket D)

 

You can also be teleported last I checked while a Gull.  (I think, I know I got into my base, maybe thru a summoned portal.  It turns gull form off when you zone elsewhere)

This doesn't make Blarf more powerful than Null. Null only grants you, the player, a portion of his power.

 

 

Also, if you get enough Immobilize Protection stacked on you before talking to Null you can still move.

now you have intrigued me... how can you do this and how much do you need? 😄

Fill your tray with Liberate inspirations (the Super! break frees), eat them all before talking to Null. Gull Incarnate (the temp power Null gives you) has a -500 Immobilize protection debuff in it, so you need to chew at least 13 Liberate inspirations (they're +40 immobilize protection each) to overcome it.
