biostem Posted November 26 Posted November 26 This has kind of been bugging me for a while now - Why, when selecting incendiary ammo for my dual pistols characters, does it change the ammo to greenish? Could it please be made to either accept a tint, or barring that, into more of an orangish hue? 2

UltraAlt Posted November 26 Posted November 26 To my knowledge, no Paragon City police officers are ground up and added to the incendiary ammo used by heroes. I would assume the same goes for Vigilantes. I don't think rogues could get away for using ground up Paragon City police officers in their incendiary ammo for long without being forced by the game to take on full villian alignment. Villians? Apparently, they can do whatever they want as long as Lord Recluse doesn't send his minions to successfully shut them down. 2 If someone posts a reply quoting me and I don't reply, they may be on ignore. (It seems I'm involved with so much at this point that I may not be able to easily retrieve access to all the notifications) Some players know that I have them on ignore and are likely to make posts knowing that is the case. But the fact that I have them on ignore won't stop some of them from bullying and harassing people, because some of them love to do it. There is a group that have banded together to target forum posters they don't like. They think that this behavior is acceptable. Ignore (in the forums) and /ignore (in-game) are tools to improve your gaming experience. Don't feel bad about using them.

For example, comparing the Dual Pistols ammunition types: Standard ammunition: Incendiary ammunition: Chemical ammunition: Cryogenic ammunition: None of this affects your concerns over the colors of the special rounds, only that in your examples, you're missing quite a bit of the special effects -- incendiary and chemical ammunition are visually quite distinct when you can see all of the particle effects. 3

Oh no doubt! It's really the color more than whether they are distinct in appearance or not. I rather like the sort of "whispy trails" you get from chemical ammo, and I have absolutely no issues with how the other ammo types appear. Thank you for the brighter screenies, though!

I had actually taken them as part of reporting a bug with the DP 'Swap Ammo' animations, in that the progression of the visuals for the shots don't actually synch properly with the shots themselves -- some of them trail well behind the shot. It doesn't affect the animation itself or the timing, just the visuals, and you have to be paying close attention to notice. 1
