Ok i have a couple of questions: Not Really Sure Where to Put This

Question 1:  I've noticed people sending out locations for Babbage.  Usually when running a Synapse TF.  How and where do i post cntrol-v and control_c  while using /loc ???

 

For now that is my only question.

Question 2: I've been running on villain side with the Super Teamers, and i noticed that i was having a hard time finding the Ferry.  Is there a easier way to find it on the map, rather than using the mouse ??

Instead of /loc, use $loc. So you might say something like "Babbage is up in Skyway at $loc", which will put in chat the clickable link with your current location.

I mean, if you have the mini-map open, just use the little arrow icon of your character to determine the direction you should be facing, then head to the nearest 'F' icon...

You can also use the little drop-down menu to choose what is displayed on your map. You can turn off everything that isn't the ferry, which will leave on the ferries as the markers.

thanks to both of you .  So all i have to do is type $loc  ??  as for question 2, i didnt realize you could do that, very helpul thank you 🙂

If whoever posted the map location in chat has used $loc then just click on it.

 

If they have not, then the easiest thing to do is manually add a thumbtack

e.g. "/thumbtack 10, 20, 30"

Consider using Vidiot Maps, which considerably upgrades the stock maps.

I have a macro that I modify on the fly as necessary for this. It's a great way to simplify the search.
