I've had a swarm of crashes with the same signature over the last three days. Each has the exception code and fault offset, so I wondered if that may help me understand the cause.

One of the errors yesterday gave me a chance to upload the memory dump, and I did that.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers for my Nvidia GeForce RTX 1080 two days ago, but it's still happening.

I did replace the water cooler for my CPU about 10 days ago, but that was the only recent change. Shouldn't matter, but thought I'd mention it.

Unsure what to do here since I've already reinstalled the drivers. I can play for a few minutes and then it just hangs for a second and the game shuts down, typically without a prompt.

Any thoughts about this?

Try deleting the drivers entirely and downloading a fresh set from Nvidia directly (maybe get the file first?). It's not uncommon for the reinstall process of a driver to see that it exists and not bother actually overwriting the one that's there. Might need to manually delete wherever they're at after using the Device Manager. Been a while since I've had to do it, but at least that's giving you a directory for reference.

WanderingAries, good advice.

I already did this and it appears to have worked. For the benefit of the next poor sob, I'll give details. I saw a post that suggested several general troubleshooting steps and followed them. I ran Malwarebytes, ran "sfc /scannow", ran MemTest86 for hours, still had the problem.

I had already reinstalled the Nvidia drivers, but I saw a suggestion to clear out those drivers using DDU(https://www.guru3d.com/download/display-driver-uninstaller-download). I ran this in safe mode, which removed all the Nvidia components while my network cord was unplugged. I had already downloaded the drivers for my specific card (and not the entire Nvidia App thing). After using DDU and restarting, I installed the drivers.

I've done several missions tonight and an speed ITF with no issues. So it looks like completely wiping out and reinstalling the video drivers really did the trick.
