So I was trying to make a very light purple character in the game, but my best options are like 8 shades too dark. Was hoping to make a character that was very light in shade purple skin. Like a heavily washed out purple. So can we get some added skin palette colors? Preferably pale/washed out colors? I'm not asking for them to be the same colors as the regular color palette. (Which also doesn't have a pale enough purple for this otherwise I would have experimented with using a completely enshrouded character to try to replicate the skin color.) Would be appreciated, thanks.

I agree for more skin color choices.  So if I want to create a member of Jim Varney's Beigefoot Indians, I can:

That said, what I really want is a unified pallet across anything that is colorable.

1000% agreed. The game having specific palettes locked to specific things is one of the most irksome aspects of the character creator. You might find the perfect color for a costume idea, but oops! It's a shade locked to a singular type of power customization. The game can already render all of these colors, let players pick from all of them. Some of them might not look the best applied to certain things but the game is already capable of randomized technicolor monstrosities. Some folks might also use them inappropriately, but if a player really goes out of their way to be obnoxious with it that's what the report function is for.

It's one reason why a lot of my costumes use non-regular face options, because it's hard to get certain alien/non-human skin tones...

Work around I have found use whatever face you want then wear tights over any part of your body that you want skin showing and select the All pattern on the face color to recolor your face whatever you want to match the "tights" skin tone you've chosen. There are some flaws with this, obviously like the bioluminescence tail I posted in another thread won't match because you're limited to actual skin tone, or if you choose any tops with skin that can't be replicated on tights, such as the yakuza tattoos chest or the male top that shows the pierced nipples.

Like I said in the OP, there aren't any pale colors even for the regular costume palette. Light, yes, but not pale/washed out. So the available colors, even for the costumes, not just for skin, are too vibrant or dark.

I had exactly this same problem recently when trying to create an "alien" character with a non-human skin color.  Some pale tints of purple, blue, green, orange, etc. would be a nice addition to the skin color palette.

Had no problem creating a dark red skin tone for another character whose combat body is a magical construct (her name is Shadow Ruby, so her colors are deep red and black), but lighter pale tones outside the human flesh-tone range are pretty much impossible to achieve.  So, yes, I'm in favor of this.
