Make Storm Kick give defense to all

I have a Martial Arts/Energy Aura brute.  I was disappointed to find that Storm Kick only does positional defense, where Energy Aura is all typed defense.  It seems unnecessary to make MA only synergize with positional defense.  Is there really a reason to funnel players into specific primary and secondary pairings? 

 

I'd like to see Storm Kick add defense to all, or at least to everything except Toxic and Psi, which are typical "holes" left in certain defensive power sets.  It would be OK to reduce the value of Storm Kick's defense a little, though I don't really see the need for it.

Looks like the power description is incorrect or outdated.

Going forward, allow me to resurrect the suggestion that we convert all typed defense to positional, and all resists to typed.

I disagree with making all defenses the same, but I do have a question. What damage resists or status resists, whichever you are referring to, are positional?
