Vader's Raiders

 

Vader's Raiders is a "Star Wars Parody / Fan Made" Themed Super Group. We play as an SG on Thursdays at 8pm EST (7pm CST) on the Excelsior Server. We form up in our Base (A Star Destroyer Bridge created by @Gem) to prepare for Missions, Tips, Radios, Excursions, Raids, etc.  Although originally confined strictly to Star Wars canon and lore. We have expanded to allow many more ATs and Powers into the SG.   Our Base Code is RAIDERS-25498

Quick History

 

We are a group of outcasts from the Empire who went our own independent way.  The Empire designated us as Uncontrollable Dissidents, Separatists, Rebel Scum or Rim Raiders, since that is where we struck at them the most.  Lord Vader simply called us Raiders, and hence we begat our namesake, "Vader's Raiders"

 

From Renegade Sith Lords and Defiant Dark Jedi to Resilient Bounty Hunters, Resentful Stormtroopers, and Self Aware Droids. We are the scourge of the Empire because we don't obey or adhere to its ways.  Continuously pursued through the Outer Rim, we found a dimensional rift that transported us into the Future to a Galaxy Far, Far Away.  We found ourselves in the Milky Way and arrived upon a planet locally known as Earth.  We then settled in Paragon City (because it was a lot like Mos Eisley) but with no Jawas, Sand People, Hutts or the Empire.

(Or so we thought)

 

To Join the SG, you just need a Star Wars style name and pick from the 4 basic Classes of characters you wish to play.

 

Class 1 - Sith Lords and Dark Jedi are the ONLY types that can have names with Darth or Master in front of them or not at all.  They are the ONLY types that can carry Lightsabers, These are limited to Katana, Broad Sword, Dual Blades, and Titan Weapons. You can still  be a Sith Lord or Dark Jedi with other Elemental Powers, instead. Sith Lords and Dark Jedi are the ONLY types that can have PSI, Kinetics, and Elemental powers (But Fire can be used by anyone). No Stone or Thorn Attacks or Stone Shields are allowed.

 

Class 2 - Bounty Hunters can use a mix of Tech Weapons, Hand Combat, Ranged Weapons. Tech and Elemental Shields. (But No Stone, PSI, or Kinetic Melee or Stone Armor is allowed)

 

Class 3 - Stormtroopers are restricted to Tech ONLY Powers. No PSI, Kinetics, Stone, Thorn or Elemental attacks (Except Fire and Ice)  No  Stone ,  Dark,   Fire,   Ice,   Shield  or  Bio Armor.

 

Class 4 - Droids are restricted to Tech ONLY and some Elemental Powers. No PSI, Kinetics, Stone, Thorns, or Elemental attacks (Except Energy, and Electric, and Radiation)  No  Stone ,  Dark,   Fire,   Ice,   Shield  or  Bio Armor.

 

To keep some faith to the canon, we made a Table at the bottom that will clear up who Can and Cannot have certain powers for certain types.  It REALLY will help you in choosing a Type.  Please understand that we do this for the love of the Game, Canon, and Lore, that's it.

Also, if interested, one of the more popular types of characters people like to make are Stormtroopers. Here are 3 types of Stormtrooper styled COH Costume Files you can download to the COH Costumes Folder, and get from the Load Tab in the Tailor Session of your Costume Creator.  We call them Shock Troopers in the SG but the costume name is still called Stormtrooper.

 

These costumes are ready for you to use if you are interested in making a trooper for the SG.  The only thing that IS REQUIRED with these is the naming convention. We try to keep things close to Canon and Lore so the Troopers Name must start with VR- (For Vader's Raiders)  followed by 2 to 4 numbers of your choice.

 

Again, Troopers are completely optional, but if you do wish to make one,  THEM BE the Rules for it

OK , Tonight,  April 29th,  We updated our  Table  that clearly explains the power sets that the Class of characters  CAN and CANNOT have in the SG.

This was done after several people (You now who you are) stated that the Table was still a little confusing and some powers were left out.  

This has been corrected, Soooooo, this is now the most Current Table of Character Powers and their links to the Classes we have.
