Anyone with Incarnate /Regen experience?

Hi all,

I'm hoping to find some folks with incarnate experience on /Regen who can offer some advice.  First of all, is it viable in Incarnate content, or should I just keep leveling /WP or pure resist/defense-based toons?  I'm having more fun on /Regen at the moment, primarily because of nostalgia, but also because you have to think about survival and the playstyle is more interactive.  I don't want to waste tons of post-50 time earning exps and threads only to find the guy sucks.

Second, which powers do you slot, particularly with regards to alpha and destiny?

Not a scrapper but got a savage/regen brute that tears things up. See large mob, pop IH and wade in, with me only popping off my DP or rec on rare situations and when solo I'm at either +2 or +4/8 I'm also not popping IH for each mob, just the initial and a bit later as the debuffs start adding up. As for which alpha and destiny I took.....agility and ageless. He's become my favorite to play and replaced my former main, while his build isn't for everyone I find him the most fun to play as I build for recharge(shade off perma), defense(around 25-30% to smash/lethal) and some resists(around 60-65% smash/lethal/fire/cold)

Yes, outside of PvP, WP is a lot easier to bring to par.  But any set can be made to work.  It's unScrapperly to do things just because they're easy.

The best alpha for regen is probably Spiritual; Regen wants as much recharge as it can get, and the +heal is helpful as well.  If you're planning an incredibly expensive build there's an argument for Musculature -- even Musculature Radial, with DM/.  For Destiny, Ageless is a net ~15% recharge and a bit of debuff resist; while that's helpful, you almost certainly don't need the endurance component and should skip the +recovery version.  I'd go with Barrier over Ageless, though.

I have an ss/regen brute who is pretty decently IO'd out atm who is also an absolute blast to play with. I also wanted regen because of nostalgia. It plays a bit better on brute due to the higher HP cap allowing you to take greater advantage of the healing %. He has almost perma hasten, max HP cap, 105hp regen passive, and 64% S/L 42% fire/cold and 30% to everything else. As well as 40% melee defense and 38% to S/L and F/C. A pretty all-around solid build with a 65 second MOG and 95second IH. :)

Out of curiosity, where are you seeing  a 95 second cooldown on IH? I ask because it has a 650 second base cooldown, and the +recharge cap is 500%, so the fastest possible cooldown should be ~130 sec (650 / 5 = 130).

Also, regen with 64% s/l resistance? That's around double what I remember Regen being able to achieve with Resilience + Tough. Man, set bonuses went bananas after I stopped playing!

I've not done some of the uppertier trials, only gotten as high as Keys, but my Savage/Regen Scrapper has done fine in them so far.  Heck, on Apex, sometimes I like to stand in the blue patches for a bit just because I can get away with it.  (And IH, I could probably just dance in a blue patch).

Incarnates, I second Spiritual as a good one since it does just about everything /Regen wants.  Destiny probably has Barrier as the best since you can use it as a second panic or anti-alpha-strike button, similar to MOG.  The rest are kinda whatever you want.

I can share my build if you like.  And don't mind that it's a bit conceptish, could use some tweaks and improvements, and is a cheaper/mid-range cost build rather than one decked out with purples, ATOs, PvPs, etc.

Yeah, I'd love to see it.  The more I play this guy, the more my SRs sit on the bench.  Having a lot of fun with him.

Here you go.  I'd probably suggest tooling around with it to see what you want out of it, since it does need improvement.  Like, I think I might have too much recovery, for example.  And also totally lack damage procs atm.  And maybe could trim some max HP since Dull Pain goes well over the cap right now.
