Can't delete Vanity Pets

My first attempt was to simply open my powers window and right-click > Delete.  Someone suggested Revoke at the S.T.A.R.T. vendor so I went there.

 

This is what I found.  Can someone help me?  I don't even know why I got them to begin with.

The vanity pets are obtained from clicking the City of Heroes anniversary event glowies.  I just ignore the event as a result.

I didn't know that!  I thought that I had purchased them in some drunken fog.  It's no wonder that the S.T.A.R.T. vendor can't remove them!?

 

Edit: the easiest thing to do is to remove them from the rewards from opening the glowies.  You can buy them from Luna, I think...?  So I don't even know why they would be obtained by this method.  And Anniversary tokens are not only useless (other than buying trash from Luna,) but they're also worthless on the auction house.  So it's not like players can't easily obtain all the Vanity Pets their egos can handle.

Fun fact!  The "undeletable" Vanity Pets have a grey icon instead of a red one.  And, unfortunately, every one of my toons are contaminated with this incurable disease.
