This is a quality of life request...

When you trying to switch incarnate powers, you will invariably get a message not letting you do it. When you get the message, can it possible to give a how long you need to wait before you can change them? Like it is done with the costume change?

Thank you

That would be nice.

i feel like zoning actually clears the timer though, so if i want to change powers, i just pop an ouro or go to a tram/ferry

Except, there seems to be more to it than just a timer, even when the error message says it's a timer issue. Frequently with Hami raids we'll pull someone over to Team 1 to help with incans and they can't seem to slot it, even though we've been sitting still for 20 minutes. But, if they drop the team they can slot it and rejoin.

Otherwise, yes, this would be a nice QoL improvement.

Yeah, I suspect it’s more than a little buggy.

When I've had issues changing an incarnate power (when I should be able to), I do two things:

  1. detoggle all powers and stop auto-powers
  2. change zones to reslot.

Not all characters have to do this, but there appear to be some powers that end up 'resetting' the Incarnate re-slot timer.

If you have any attack powers that are autofiring, if you were recently in combat or were attacked, if you recently changed incarnate powers, if you are on a team and any of them were recently in combat or were attacked, then you can't change incarnate powers. So there are multiple triggers to be checked for, and not all of them are based on your character.

Edit: And before anyone pops in to say there is no reason to argue with the OP? I'm not. A timer would be helpful. So if the devs can add one that shows us how much longer we have to wait, I'm definitely not opposed. All I am saying is that there are a lot of triggers that prevent us from changing incarnate powers. (Which is why if I go to change any of mine, I never unslot it, I just equip the new power and let it auto-replace the previous one.) (Edit again: So if implemented, be prepared to watch the timer jump back up repeatedly depending on what is going on around your character. Like it saying 10 seconds left to then saying 5 minutes left without you doing anything because any of the triggers got triggered.)

Edited yet again to correct "I" to "A".
