An Uncontroversial Complaint

Well, the devs have done it again! They're releasing a bunch of changes to the thing. You know which thing I mean! The thing I liked. They didn't change the bad thing that I didn't want, they changed the good thing! This cannot stand. All of this time and ... well, time I've spent playing this game, and they keep making changes of things that I didn't want changes to, and not changing the things I wanted changed! And not big changes either, just little tiny ones that I'd barely notice unless I scoured the patch notes and read between the lines and guesstimated the effects without any attempt at testing!

 

Tomorrow we riot! Or at least we quietly fume and make snarky posts on the Internet about how good the old thing used to be!

weeeellll they really didnt change my thing, but i still dont like it, as it used to be much better with the old thing, and everyone says its worse so it must be true!

I'm not a fan of change. Additions are okay, but changes to existing things irritate me. It's like you go to take a shower and you get a static shock when you step in because water is now shocking... the world has changed and that's the new reality... until it changes again. Is the orange juice going to shock me too? What about tomato sauce? I guess I'll just get some sleep and wait for the dark round orb in the sky to rise again and shine its lifegiving darkness down upon us.

I too am disgruntled!  Grarr. 

 

I have invested so much time in my thing that this change feels like a personal attack. They literally took off their white glove and slapped me in the face with it! 

 

And now people are telling me I shouldn't be offended? That it's only a small glove?! Well, it's still a glove! To the face! They have besmirched my honor! 

 

Oh, so you say I should be calm, unbothered, and not overreact?... Well howdy doo..!  While I'm at it, I will take offense to this as well! Let's see how you like it. Here it comes...I'm taking off my white glove!

You should go on General chat and complain, just don't get too specific. If anyone asks for details, link the forums and maybe insult them a little. Let those casuals know that the game is ruined.

Remember that thing that happened 0.01% of the time back on Live?  It's still happening!!  UGH!

And where's the Armor/Armor archetype I demanded?!

 

I can't believe after all this time, and multiple warnings, that this game has completely gone to the Americans. 🤦‍♂️

I combed through the readme curious whether there are implemented any of the changes and fixes that people have asked about on the Suggestions forum - perchance. Nope, none have made it in.

such a ridiculous change to the game. i use 348 custom coded macros and have 7 keyboards, 2 foot switches, a drum on my back which i use as left click and a harmonica in my mouth which i blow into for right clicks and this just does NOT work for my use case

 

do the devs even think about players like me with very normal setups?

 

i’ll be deleting all the add-ons i’ve developed on my bespoke janky code repository. they have been downloaded tens of times. i’m done with this community.
