Most notable for the nav bar menue. German texts are a bit longer wich results in a rather ugly rendering. Visible right at the login screen Or at the nav-bar (Will try to change the most obvious cases to a shorter/more appropriate text) Back in the days the text boxes got adjusted to what was shown. b) A more general question: Formal "Sie" or informal "Du" when addressing the player? Right now the automatic translated texts use both on a seemingly random base. c) While browsing the string tool I started building a dictionary based on the material I still have (manuals, screenshots, etc.). Is there already a provision to share such and handle cooperative edit? If not, any suggestions what to use? One rather basic approach may be using a thread (here or somewhere else) to present definitions and collect opinion/response about? d) Related: Is there a way to get all texts as a table (CSV or ODS)? It would simplify the task of using consistent wording. e) Searching thru my archives I found two old installations - one dating 2007, the other 2010. Could this be helpful to recover the original German translation? I never digged into the game structure, so I might need some hints where to look for. No, there is no way to adjust anything with the text size or placement on buttons, unfortunately when they ripped out the translations they overhauled the UI and set everything to static sizes. I have no idea of the best ways to translate the text, I barely speak english. I'm not sure. No, I don't want to release the text outside the site for several reasons So much has changed since then only the original badges would really be useful, and I would need to write a parser to read the .bin which just adds a layer of complexity.
