Special Guest Challenger: Everlasting Pride

The Challenge:
It's our 6th year celebrating Pride on Homecoming, and we're once again inviting the community to show their spirit with creativity, color, and character! This year's theme is "Pride Through the Ages" - a celebration of Pride history, futures, and everything in between. 

Your Mission:
Design a Pride Parade Float that showcases your interpretation of this year’s theme. Whether it’s a tribute to past trailblazers, a nod to pivotal moments in LGBTQIA+ history, or a vision of queer joy in the future, we want to see your vision come to life!

These floats will be part of a community "parade" crawl, giving visitors across all shards a reason to celebrate and reflect. One overall winner will be crowned, along with winners from every shard - because Pride belongs to all of us.

The Details:

• Build your float in a NEW base
• The float must fit comfortably into half an entry-sized room (1x2 base tiles = 32x64 feet)
• You may use the entry room, but whatever space you use must be clearly visible from the entry
• Floats should appear ready to roll in a parade (hitched to a truck or towable)
• Pride theme must be visually clear
• The default Atlas Park sky must be visible overhead
• Atmosphere and room décor are optional but always encouraged!
• Make sure your base is newer than the following codes:

- Everlasting: 38625
- Excelsior: 36081
- Indomitable: 12102
- Reunion: 10074
- Torchbearer: 15315

- Victory: 982

 

• REMINDER: The Atlas sky includes a night cycle! If your float is outside, you'll need to light it manually. Avoid using outdoor lighting objects, as they don’t cast actual light.

 

Deadline to Enter:
June 22 - Post your base code to the official entry thread by this date to be included in the judging and parade crawl.

Judging and tours will take place the following week.

Winners will be announced June 30 (title delivery may take a bit longer).

Prizes:
From the HC City Council, the Winner (Overall Champion) will receive:

• 500 Aethers
• The gold title “2025 Pride of the Parade”

 

Separately from HC, Everlasting Pride is awarding billions in influence to the winner!

Additional Winners: Each shard will have a winner, and those winners will also receive influence (from Everlasting Pride) and 40 Aethers!
(Overall Champion is the winner for their shard, no additional winner will be selected.)

Everlasting Pride has reserved a substantial sum to give other awards at their discretion, depending on entries, SO ENTER!
 

Fine Print:

• Contest runs from June 8- June 22. Entries need to be finished by then, for tours and judging. Final results will be announced and prizes will be awarded on June 30 (Title may take a bit longer to show up).

• Post your base code on this entry thread by the deadline to enter

• One entry per player. If a player has helped in another build, that’s allowed, but may only win with their official entry. If another entry that they helped build wins, the builder who entered that base gets the prize associated with that award.
