oedipus_tex Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 Hi all, I'm looking for feedback on my Elec/Psi/Mu Dominator. He's built as a "super sapper"/perma Dom. This is a very expensive build. I'm still getting used to the newer rules for procs, so some of my slotting is different than how I would classically have built this character. In the older version of the game I'd have capped ranged Defense, but in this latest iteration I think procs are more important. That's because you can eat a Purple to hit the soft cap, but there is no inspiration to replace procs. So, I'm slightly under soft cap for Ranged. I also recently got schooled a bit about Dominator melee attacks. I dropped Mental Blast from my previous version of the build for Mind Probe. Hoping I don't run into too many issues with AVs. I am very unsure about the new rules for Snipes so for the moment just look the Snipe as a set mule. I do cast it occasionally after reactivating Domination since Domination provides 15 seconds of +ToHit. HachiMan2015 Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 (edited) I've leveled 2 Dom's to 50 so far, a Plant/Savage and a Mind/Martial and I am just not feeling either of them. The plant savage is the better of the 2. I think the reason is I have always longed to try electric and I'm not sure why I haven't. So, how is this build working for you? Have you changed it? And is it just as effective without the purples in it? Edit: well obviously it won't be JUST as effective, but will it work if I just switch out the purples for a less costly set for now? The real fun is Power Sink + Conductive Aura. It's disgusting overkill, really, and maybe I could benefit from changing the character to focus more on damage instead of endurance drain. As far as super heroic characters go, though it makes for a wildly good sapper.
