Jacktar Posted Monday at 06:59 PM Posted Monday at 06:59 PM Hi, I apologise if this has been asked, so many posts read in vain so far. I really prefer to control my pets using the advanced set. I usually set it to Aggressive & Attack my target. Is there any way that I can hit a pet summon and be in that mode directly? Or if not is there a macro or keybind I can use after summoning so a one click/keypress will change from ordinary control mode to Advanced and Aggressive Attack my target? Hope this kind of makes sense and thank you for responses, appreciated 😀
SeraphimKensai Posted Monday at 11:27 PM Posted Monday at 11:27 PM Define "advanced" mode. Are you talking about using a buff like Equip Thugs or Enchant Undead?
Psyonico Posted Monday at 11:50 PM Posted Monday at 11:50 PM You can't, as far as I know, change their default stance. However, you could make a bind that changes their stance. /bind <key> "petcom_all attack aggressive" Here's a list of all the pet commands https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Pet_Commands 1 What this team needs is more Defenders
Jacktar Posted Tuesday at 12:31 PM Author Posted Tuesday at 12:31 PM Hi guys, @SeraphimKensai, Hi, when you first time for the particular play session summon any Mm (and other) pet, the Pet window pops up and you have the three condition buttons the same as the three you get for your power trays. I will call that the default summons mode. If you then click the Options tag at the top of the popup you can change the default to Advanced Mode. That switches to two buttons that have three options each so a total of six to play with. That is mode that I was asking if it was possible to make the default when summoning. It would appear that is not possible but however once selected and set it will stay in that mode for the rest of the play session. So resummoning does default to that till you log out. That is at least something good. @Psyonico, Hi, thanks for the info, given that the Advanced Mode cannot be made the initial default I discovered that I can summon pets as usual and then just hit the letter M and that does switch to Advanced fine. Then having made a macro using your Petcom info I can now just summon, hit M, hit the macro and am where I want to be. Quick and easy 👍 Would be nice if I could combine or make one macro to do the M and setting at same time but no biggie. This will make my pet control after pet deaths (yes surprisingly I do seem to be blessed with my share of Leroy pets!) so thank you both for info and guidance, I have learned a lot that will help ingame, cheers

Uun Posted Tuesday at 04:02 PM Posted Tuesday at 04:02 PM Go to Menu/Options/Windows and scroll down to Pets. Select "Enabled" for Advanced Pet Controls. Should apply permanently to all your characters. Uuniverse
Jacktar Posted Wednesday at 06:47 PM Author Posted Wednesday at 06:47 PM (edited) Hi Uun, thanks for the steer, I don’t venture into the Windows tab very often. However when I went to check that setting it was already showing Enabled. So summoning up many years of my gathered I.T. experience I tried the trusted method of “Turn it off and back on and see if that sorts out the problem”😀 So clicked to disabled and reclicked to enabled and logged in a different Mm and sure enough at summoning the Pet window popped up in Advanced Mode. Brilliant! Have now tried out a few more of my Mm’s and all doing the same. I now just have to hit the macro to change to the right Pet settings. No idea why it worked but it did, so thank you so much for the info. Appreciated 👍 This is a happy outcome to my quest and confirmation that this community and game never fail to impress.
