TaskForces play differently in Ouroboros (see Sister Psyche's flashback about Clamor) and that's an interesting and novel gameplay pivot.  Let's talk about it.

While in a flashback, the TaskForce content is subject to notoriety limits.  You can run them solo and not face x8 packs while doing so.  Struggling to beat that archvillain (or archvillains?  I'm looking at you, Aeon!)?  Well, in Ouro you can knock them down to Elite Boss, AND you can switch to -1 if that's not enough.  Ouroboros mode also gives you the opportunity to stop and read the text boxes, something that never gets the opportunity to happen when you're running in a team.

So maybe the other active TaskForces (or rather copies of them) could be added to the corresponding Ouroboros level categories?  They don't even have to give the same rewards or badges as the regular versions... just let players flashback/solo them for the content and/or practice.

You can run them solo out of Ouroboros too. Read all the text boxes you want that way.

The TFs in Ouroboros apply difficulty settings though?!

Edit: Okay, yeah, level adjustments for the TFs in Ouroboros apply in full as opposed to active TFs that only apply the positive level shifts. Just tested Sister Psyche and Positron 1 at -1 and +4 for both.

I agree with this except for the endgame TFs like Kahn, Lady Grey, ITF, etc.   Basically anything that gives Incarnate salvage.  Even with lesser rewards, the story behind those IMO just don't support them being solo adventures even though some can be soloed with powerful builds.

I'm all for anything that increases the amount of solo-friendly content.

You run an endgame TF (i.e., one where you're not capped in level, the way Numina caps you so that you just barely don't get access to the incarnate abilities) at -1, then most of the enemies are going to be 49, with a scattering of 48 and 50 -- and none of the level 49 or 48 mobs will drop incarnate salvage, because that's the way the game is built

My primary issue is with the content itself, not its rewards.  I don't think the Ms. Liberty TF, for example, should be soloable at all.  No matter the rewards.   Obviously some TFs like the ITF are soloable, but I think if the TF rewards Alpha components or better (e.g. Apex) then it shouldn't get this treatment.

Normal TFs scale to the number of people on the team (including those not logged in). If you solo a TF the spawn sizes will be based on your notoriety setting.

Well, in Ouro you can knock them down to Elite Boss

Haven't tested, but pretty sure this isn't the case for true TFs run through Ouro (i.e., Sister Psyche, Calvin Scott, original LRSF). The TFs run through Ouro contacts (Twilight Son, Mender Lazarus and Mender Silos) aren't true TFs and the AVs can be scaled down to EBs.

I made the thread after running Sister Psyche through Ouro on -1x1.  Clamor spawned as an orange Elite Boss.  Enemy groups consisted of 2-3 minions or a minion and a lieutenant; no bosses.  I didn't use a special contact: just the list from the crystals of fire and ice.

Active taskforces don't respect negative level shifts or boss restrictions.  Soloing Posi 2 or Synapse will still spawn bosses as bosses and archvillains as archvillains, even if your notoriety settings would dictate otherwise.  I'm also not sure if some of them actually pay attention to team count or not; I know Synapse does but I could swear Posi 2 does not.  Ouro on the other hand appears to respect them, hence the thread.

This is only partially true.  Only named bosses will spawn as bosses, there won't be bosses interspersed in regular mobs unless solo bosses is turned on.

What this team needs is more Defenders

I wasn’t aware you could do this but it feels like cheating. If you’re going to solo a TF, you should have to defeat an AV.
