So almost level 50 with a DM/SHD scrapper and I have no idea what the end game build will look like.

 

Right now I am using a modified Buzzsaw for most of my damage with Shadow Punch, Smite, Boxing and Cross Punch and have Siphon Life, Shield Charge, Soul Siphon and Dark Consumption as situational stuff. Not getting Hasten due to being a combo of Buzzsaw and Cross Punch adding to recharge.

 

So my big questions are: Is the attack side of my build viable?

On the Shield side of things any powers that are skippable?

How Should I be slotting these powers and what sets should I try and fit into them (first time trying to mess with IO sets)?

 

Any help would be appreciated and thanks.

At the beginning that attack chain is fine but end game you'll want to use the higher damage Midnight Grasp > Smite > Siphon Life.

 

One with the shield is definitely skippable but it is a nice o poop button.

Is Soul Mastery a requirement for your build? Just curious about maybe Conserve Power/Physical Perfection Route for End shifters/heal sets or maybe Leviathan for Hibernate?

That chain isn't good because Brawl nor Cross Punch are relatively low damage attacks.

 

Soul Mastery isn't a requirement but I like having a high damage ranged attack. I've had Body Mastery in the past but having Dark Consumption takes care of most of my endurance issues. I've never tried leviathan mastery but I don't know if I'd really need Hibernate as I have Shadow Meld which takes my defense to ~75% to all positions so between that and Siphon Life I'm able to regenerate most of my hp.

Is there some build that is pre IO sets that transitions to the build you posted? like something to use 25 IOs on to get used to rotations and such? Or is not really viable without the Set IOs?

This one uses common IOs. The set IOs that are in there I bought using merits.
