Primary Response for Immediate Military Engagement. This was the goal of the FIST project when it hired Dr. Frank Deveraux. Formerly a scientist working for the Portal Corporation, Dr. Deveraaux is a expert in the field of gravimetrics and temporal spatial mechanics. The FIST project sought to make an exoskeleton that could instantly transport their advanced military weaponry and personnel to handle any potental threat. Dr. Deveraux, in conjunction with Dr. Dane Hammond and Dr. Jonas Markum, developed the PRIME Exosuit utilizing similar technology as the Portal Corporation. With their help he created a portable Warp Field Unit complete with gravimetric and temporal field altering abilities to support combat troops. Dr. Deveraux a FIST Project research scientest now known as the hero Prime, is also a founding member of the TItans United supergroup and is currently field testing the unit.

Background

 From childhood Arthur Ames suffered from constant spasms and seizures. As he approached puberty he was also seemed to develop a type of ADHD. His mind was always moving, he was constantly active, running around, and had trouble sleeping. Then one day Arthur while at home with his parents, he released a pulse of energy that knocked out every electrical system in the house. His parents took him to GIFT and they discovered that Arthur was a metahuman that drew enegry from an unknown force that seemed to focus on energy and velocity. This force which Arthur dubbed "The Juice" increased his speed, reaction time, thought processes, and even his healing Factor. Arthur can run at incredible speeds. He is one of fastest heroes every tested by GIFT.  In addition the constant influx of energy has increased the electical charge in Arthur's body allowing him to create and even absorb electrical attacks.

One of Arthur's primary powers is the ability to drain energy from almost any source; in effect he is a walking EMP. He can shut down any electrical current in his vicininty which includes the electrical pulses in living beings. He can also draw that energy into himself to aid his own recovery and even heal damage to his person by causing his cells to regenerate at an accelrated rate. In addition Arthur is also highly resistant to energy based attacks. Lately he has found that he can even "Juice" others boosting their speed and recovery. Arthur now works with GIFT as the hero " Overdrive".

My main is also an E3 Sentinel. Arc Havoc. Amazing toon. Tough. Good damage. Unreal sapper. Mobs just stand there blinking at me. Never understood the malaise around Sentinels. Yes, they are not UBER damage or Defence. They sure are fun though.

Background

 

 Mitsurugi Misawa former lead developer for the Misawa Electronic Corporation, saw his innovative tech company snatched from under him as it reached its apex. Misawa had been contacted by the organization known as the FIST to develop several electrical based armored exosuits. Misawa had success with the Taser and Shellshock projects yielding immediate results, causing the company's stock to soar. However it was his third project that led to his downfall. Misawa tried repeatedly, but unsuccessfully to combine the plans for the FIST prototype PRIME teleportation device with a new exosuit designed for rapid attacks. The FIST pulled funding, but Misawa continued to sink company assets into the design. The stock plummeted and the board moved to take over Misawa Corporation. Misawa refused to resign and was removed. Before the board could lock him out he took the plans for his new exosuit. Misawa reportedly has received "unknown and questionable" new sources of funding to finish his project, and then he plans to retake his company, by any means at his disposal.

Luminous Blast/Luminous Aura Breightling

Background

 

 

 The being known as Photon was first discovered by the FIST operative Airhammer in his visits to alternate dimensions through Portal Corporation. Airhammer found Photon a member of an alien race made of pure energy, that he came to know as a Breightling. Unfortunately his energy matrix was destabilizing after a vicious attack on his dimension by Void Hunters who confused them with the race known as the Kheldians. Breightlings have a similar energy signature and the same weakness to quantum energy, however they cannot alter their shape and are normally in a pure energy form. Neutron and Excalibur created an exoskeleton that restabilized Photon's energy matrix. His understanding of enegry flux has been crucial to the success of the FIST project and the improvements in the Airhammer exoskeleton. He is convinced that the apperance of Void Hunters in this dimension is a pre invasion force and he is determined to make the Hunters feel hunted.

Major Allan of the USAF was the experimental pilot of a spacecraft with a new drive system reverse engineered from Rikti salvage. The test was fine until the engine engaged...and exploded in a massive surge of radioactive fire that plummeted into the atmosphere. Major Allan was presumed dead...however, his mutilated body washed ashore in the Rogue Islands with fearsome radioactive fire powers; his flesh burned away leaving only an apparent skeleton trapped within his special space suit and a mind warped beyond all morality.

"He burns for your destruction."

 

 

From Gold side to Blue side comes Infinite Ice; A mutant blaster with powers over Time and Ice that has been working rather extremely well. The powers really play off each other allowing him to dominate most fights and rapidly heal when taking damage.  When he's around crime really slows down.  He's managed to solo to level 31 so far.

 

A mutant with no knowledge of his past; 'Ian' as he came to be called was trained by Cole's minions and inducted into the Powers Division upon graduation from an accelerated educational course leaving him with a degree in temporal science and masteries in several martial arts. He blazed through his time within Praetoria and was known for his more responsible outlook towards fighting crime while serving under Praetor White. But he sensed something rotten in the regime and took the first opportunity possible to immigrate to Primal Earth and Paragon City. Sure, the society was more flawed than a box of crayons in a microwave, but it was also more 'honest' about those flaws and how the people lived their lives. Something far more satisfying than serving Tyrant. 

 

 

 

 

I hate to go off on a tangent but I have a toon named Holocaust and he's on the Excelsior server. I was part of an SG and some guy went all ape-shat on me for having the name. He then opted to go to Tells and decided he'd swear at me too. He claimed he is Jewish and this is very offensive to him. I opted to quit the SG and move on.

 

I do see how it can be triggering but that was the only time I had someone protest over the name. So, heads up in regards to the Major!

Just a prime example of how overly sensitive and entitled society has gotten Burthurt *sigh*. Not saying the dude can't be offended but his taking a single name or word out of the context it is presented in and then thinking that gives them the right to be abusive to others...well...folks like that are prime Skulz recruits IMO. :P   The word itself is derived from Latin for burnt whole. Definition is fitting for a villain as it is defined as mass destruction and slaughter usually by burning such as nuclear holocaust...which is the whole goal of the now rather insane Major. That the word has become associative with one of humanity's greatest atrocities does not create any sort of social contract requiring civilization to abjure the word from its lexicon. Now...if it is in the context of folks making light of said dark event rather than simply being used; then I could see justification for some sort of offense as it would definitely be in bad taste. 😉 I'm Gen X and grew up around people that actually fought in WW2 and one of our family friends was the daughter of a camp survivor...so I may be a bit more inured to things.

Psyber Beast (Brute PA/SM Lvl 22) is a survivor of the many genetic experiments conducted in the early days of the Hamidon Wars. Created to be a shock trooper resistant to infection and mental usurpation, his bestial genetics coupled with the grafted cybernetic armor was more than successful. Unfortunately these same traits also made him uncontrollable and just as dangerous to friendly units as he was to the enemy. Once in battle, he would slip into a berserker state and attack anything in sight that moved. Deactivate and stored in cryo-statis, he was later revived by Neuron after a modified neural node was implanted preventing his uncontrolled berserker mode. Job done, Neuron handed him off to Praetor White and Powers Division all the while complaining about having another dozen things to do before lunch. White proved to Psyber Beast that he was THE Alpha and successfully employed him against the more problematic issues arising in Praetoria. It was during this time that Psyber Beast managed to gain access to the portal to Primal Earth and escaped Praetoria to seek more formidable foes to sink his fangs and claws into.  (He's been real fun to play doing quite well at +1 so far)

 

Psi-Lent (Blaster PB/TM Lvl 29)

Once a mere technician with Omni-Tek, a now defunct competitor of Crey Industries, Craig Williams was caught up in the terrible energies released when the Rikti portal device his lab bosses were working on exploded (due to suspected sabotage). Seemingly he was okay when examined by the responding Vanguard medics other than bruises and such from being thrown. Many of his fellow workers weren't so lucky, a few even vaporized being closer to the device that he had been. Over the next few weeks, Craig began to lose his voice and displayed several psychic and temporal abilities. He went to the nearest hospital and was soon transferred to a Vanguard medical facility where he was pronounced a mutant. By this time he could only communicate with his mind, his voice no longer functional. Taking on the moniker Psi-Lent, he joined other powered individuals in their fight to keep Paragon City safe; and if he can dig up dirt on Crey, so much the better. (the quiet sniper with a side order of brain scramble. No fast missions but that's not his thing anyhow.)
