khy Posted September 6 Posted September 6 (edited) Just wondering what setting would be causing low FPS on a new graphics card. I just upgraded to a GeForce 5070 ti and am seeing average framerate of around 20-25 fps. I've already checked drivers and they're the latest available, but of course that might be part of the problem? I run the game at 2560 x 1440 resolution, and have a 144hz GSync monitor if that matters. Edited September 6 by khy
Glacier Peak Posted September 6 Posted September 6 Go in to the Nvidia control panel and unlock the FPS. 1 I lead weekly Indom Badge Runs / A newer giant monster guide by Glacier Peak / A tour of Pocket D easter eggs! / Arena All-Star Accolade Guide! Best Post Ever....

Particles/PhysX, if enabled or set to a high value, also impose an unusually high performance penalty. Disabled PhysX and drop particles to the minimum, and set other player names to only appear when selected or on mouse-over, and see if that helps.
Captain Fabulous Posted September 17 Posted September 17 What kind of CPU do you have? If it has an integrated GPU you should make sure the game is using the Nvidia card, because IIRC Windows will default to the integrated GPU. 1
