Low FPS on new graphics card

Just wondering what setting would be causing low FPS on a new graphics card.

 

I just upgraded to a GeForce 5070 ti and am seeing average framerate of around 20-25 fps. I've already checked drivers and they're the latest available, but of course that might be part of the problem?

 

I run the game at 2560 x 1440 resolution, and have a 144hz GSync monitor if that matters.

Go in to the Nvidia control panel and unlock the FPS.

This may seem counterintuitive, but certain GUI elements, specifically things like name labels for other players, place an unusually high demand on systems - even ones decades newer than when the game came out.  Particles/PhysX, if enabled or  set to a high value, also impose an unusually high performance penalty.  Disabled PhysX and drop particles to the minimum, and set other player names to only appear when selected or on mouse-over, and see if that helps.

What kind of CPU do you have? If it has an integrated GPU you should make sure the game is using the Nvidia card, because IIRC Windows will default to the integrated GPU.
