Elec. Melee/Shield - Which AT Would You Choose?

Been wanting to roll an Elec./Shield character. My first instinct was to go Stalker, since AS is a nice extra single target attack that the other melee ATs don't get. Is there a reason a Scrapper/Brute would be better for this combo (I don't want to Tank because I generally suck at it tbh).

 

Also, do Lightning Rod and Shield Charge crit on hitting while hidden? I thought I read somewhere that SC doesn't but just wanted to verify that.

I have a Stalker, Scrapper and a Tank, they're all good but I think the Stalker is the best. As you mentioned AS beefs up the single target damage of Elec and it's quite noticeable. The nukes don't crit but they also don't break hide. Endurance will probably be your biggest struggle while leveling.

I have an Elec/Shield Scrapper fully built at level 50 and wish I went Stalker.

Neither Lightning Rod or Shield Charge crit under any circumstance on either stalkers or scrappers.

Stalker>Scrapper>Tank>Brute
