DarionLeonidas Posted yesterday at 01:31 AM Posted yesterday at 01:31 AM I notice that Rikti raids go largely ignored, especially in the Rogue Isles or the parts of Paragon City that are lower level or thematically "dingy". I also notice how much people enjoy Double XP events. Hmmm... How would it be if Rikti Raids were Double XP? Not all Rikti Raids, but random ones? Might spark more interest in fighting raids in the less-popular zones. Worth trying? Just wondering.
Rudra Posted yesterday at 02:55 AM Posted yesterday at 02:55 AM Please no. The reason why there isn't as much raid fighting in the less popular zones is because they are less popular zones. Zones like Steel Canyon have a nice point where the league can gather and fight, and more teams have room to show up and join in. Lots of open space on that hill. So of course you are going to see raids tackled more often in zones where it is easier for the leagues to form and deal with it. 1
Chris24601 Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago I just avoid all large concentrations of power spam which turns things into a lag fest where I can’t even target things to earn xp from things fall over so fast (I can do it on some melee classes that have PBAoEs because they don’t need to target first, but sets like Street Justice are worthless because they have none, it’s spinning kick is a short range targeted AoE which runs into the above targeting issue). No amount of XP can fix that issue. 1
MsSmart Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago Sadly the terrain on red zones are quite difficult to navigate when compared to blue zones which tend to have long straight streets that make the harvesting of bombs much simpler. When I do an LGTF to spawn an invasion and it turns out to be red side, I just go do something else and write off the LGTF as a waste of time.

Port Oakes has a straight street where the bombs show up. That road in front of the Mooks walled off compound. Though not "straight" the area with the warehouses at the ferry running to the Facemaker's is also a fairly straight and open area to find bombs in. That's just the bomb phase though. I don't recall there being any suitable congregation points for leagues to get the EBs. (Edit: That second location is in Cap au Diable for anyone unsure of what I am talking about.) Edit again: It also doesn't help red side that it is much less popular than blue side. And since I believe the invasions hit a red and blue zone at the same time, most players are going to be blue side to deal with it. Which leaves red side under-represented to deal with it.
