So No More Shapeshifting? Issue 25 Questions

Hi All,

 

New coming back to the game.

 

Just want to make sure I understand the I25 changes.

 

So I no longer will have to shapeshift? All nova powers will be available in human form? does this make a PB better than blaster? if someone could please break this down for me.

Not quite.  How it works is that the Nova form can use Glinting/Ebon Eye, and the Dwarf form can use Gleaming/Shadow Bolt.  Both these powers are inherited from your human form, slotting and all.  This was done so attack chains with the two forms worked a little bit better.  Shapeshifting is still absolutely a thing.

You still have forms to shapeshift into but an extra attack in each form like Zumberge said. Also, some people were unaware that Light Form for Peacebringers no longer locks you out of Nova/Dwarf and can be used while in those forms. This change was made in issue 21 and it was game changing.

And one more thing, also from issue 21 or thereabouts, shape shifting is practically instantaneous now. If you played a long time ago on live it took a couple seconds to change forms, but towards the end it was changed so it's essentially just a server tick now.

Issue 25 also added power color customization to both Kheldian HEATs.
