i25 Ground Targeting Binds Arent Working...?

SO I thought the patch notes were pretty straightforward, but these aren't working for me in trying to bind Shield Charge and Lightning Rod.

 

/powexec_location target Lightning Rod

/powexec_location target Shield Charge

 

 

Nadda...what am I doing wrong there?

You might need to put quotes around the power names. And, of course, you need the /bind command itself.

 

So try:

 

/bind <whatever key> powexec_location target "Lightning Rod"

/bind <whatever key> powexec_location target "Shield Charge"

 

(Replace "<whatever key>" with the key or key combination, of course)

You don't normally need to quote multi-word power names:

 

/powexec_name Dreadful Wail

 

works just fine

 

And, you don't need to quote a bind for single commands, although when you are doing multiple commands in a single bind you DO need the quotes:

 

/bind k powexec_toggleon Tactics

/bind k "powexec_toggleon Tactics$$powexec_toggleon Maneuvers"

 

(that last will turn on Maneuves on the first keypress, Tactics on the second)

 

For consistency however, I always quote my binds

Valorian - is what you pasted here the actual bind your are trying to make?  If so the start of the bind should be /bind [key] powexec.....

 

Also, if you have targeted an enemy that is out of range of the power, nothing will happen.  Otherwise, when you press the keybind, the enemy target gets zapped or the reticle will come up.

 

What happens when you try?
