So, here is my "SCA fighter-inspired" Natural Scrapper with a rattan sword and center-grip shield.  I THINK I am good with defense, and S/L resists are near 60% before and incarnate stuff.

 

Ideas?  Comments?  Ironic Musings?

I love ALL Archetypes, but prefer to play them Blue-Side.

Defenses look good but Focused Accuracy and Assault kinda break your build end wise, especially being two totally unnecessary powers. I'r personally get Shatter instead of FA and any def mule such as Hover for a lotg. Whenever possible, I tend to allocate LotG 7.5% rchg in base slot mules and use toggles for other def sets. Also, not sure about Spring attack on your build tbh.

It is another targeted AoE and is fun, but yeah spring attack is a bit much.  I am a Brute player rather than a scrapper, so, I am not as up on the concept.

Here's what I'm running.  I'm sure the experts could improve it, but I only give myself one expensive SET like ATO or Avalanche/Winters in a given build to control costs which I usually have with merits by the time I'm 50.  I have Alt-itis pretty bad so I'm usually on the next one after I get to what I consider to be a B+ fairly inexpensive build (say 100 mill investment - compared to 500 mill+).

 

It's over soft-cap to positions by a little bit, and I like my S/L Resist up there also, so it's flirting with 75%.  

 

Anyway, if this gives you some ideas that's great.  Also, open to thoughts on improvements as well as general observations.

Body Mastery offers endurance management tools, which WM/SD otherwise lacks. Between the mace attacks and Shield Charge, you already have a solid variety of ST and AoE attacks, so there are no obvious holes for epic attacks to fill.

I was doing a theme toon with this, mimicing Captain America from endgame where he uses thors hammer so i went mace/shield and MU for some electric.
