  1. Update - pulled out a character I cranked to 50 via mapserver event to give myself something to work on over the holidays. They've done no other storyarc/TF content and needed a Notice of the Well, so I hopped onto a Zoe TF run. The Zoe Task Force is awarding the souvenir for the Aeon Strike Force instead of a souvenir of its own (if any).
  2. This part is incorrect - the current setup for Master of (x) Task Force badge runs lock out all Incarnate powers, including Alpha and the level shift associated with it. This was changed on Homecoming a few years back - I couldn't tell you when, exactly. This also includes Ultimate Inspirations (and I presume all other Incarnate Inspirations, but Ultimates were the only ones I had handy to check). Everything else in GM Impervium's post is otherwise correct (aside from the bits where they suggest using Barrier Destiny, which is is regrettably locked out for these Master badge challenges). I'll add that if you want to be cautious when fighting the Patron AVs, a popular tactic is to try to corner pull Black Scorpion into the little alcove to the southeast of where he spawns (it's a little spot where Barracuda is on the actual Grandville zone map). If you're lucky, you'll can grab just him and you and the rest of the team can beat him to death. What tends to happen is that you also pull Captain Mako, but fighting two AVs at the same time (usually Black Scorpion first, because he taunts so your target is locked on him anyway) is better than the worst case scenario of 3 or all 4 AVs at once.
  3. I'm in a Minds of Mayhem iTrial where the AVs are spawning at 55+2, while the throwaway minion adds that look like Mother Mayhem are spawning at level 54.
  4. I did, yes. And a D-sync Provocation, to boot!
  5. See title. I just finished the new task force (fun set pieces and scenery!), and there's no new souvenir at the bottom of my souvenir list for it
  6. I want to say that The Slayer badge also doesn't differentiate between Column and Council vampyres (vampyri?), but I've never thought to specifically check and 5th Column vampyres (vampyii?) aren't nearly as common as Council vampyres (vampyriii?). (side note, my spell check really doesn't like the word 'vampyre' ('vampyriiii'?) but while it's actually hard to see if I've spelled it vampyre (vampyriiiii?) I'm too lazy to right-click and add it to the dictionary.)
  7. This is, I think, a result of them adjusting the level range of Long Jack's storyarc from 20-24 to 20-25. The trick being that there is one mission that's not part of his story arc (a hunt 20 Family in Port Noble mission) that he won't give you at 25. Which in turn means his reputation bar will never reach 100%, which THEN means that he won't introduce you to Tobias until he thinks you've outleveled him completely (level 26). (To be clear - the introduction to Tobias is separate from his story arc and is a part of how the contact system works in the game.) So in this case, the workaround is either: 1) get to level 26, whereupon the game thinks you've outleveled Long Jack completely and he'll introduce you to the next contact in the chain, OR 2) Flashback to his arc in Ouroboros (you can flashback to arcs you've already completed, regardless of what level they are - it's why the level 50 block at the Crystal unlocks when you've done the Ouroboros intro arc, because its range is 25-50) to completion, whereupon the flashback will add the rep bar from the flashback to his current rep bar, filling it to 100% and making him introduce you to Tobias. In srmalloy's case, it is likely that they started Long Jack's arc but didn't complete it before levelling to 26-27, whereupon the game automatically introduced him to the next tier of contacts (because it thought they outleveled Long Jack), while still leaving Long Jack's arc open because it was already in progress.
  8. I think an alternate 'fix' is to do Aaron Walker's arc to completion in flashback, whereupon the game will flag him as 'alive'. That will require you to quit out of your current Ouro flashback, however.
  9. A friend managed to get it after I mentioned it existed.
  10. A question about the CoC and multiboxing: So does this mean you can multi-box with three accounts, or does this mean you can multi-box with up to three accounts at once (so a maximum of four)?
  11. Adelard Ziegler is listed as a hero contact in the patch notes, but I'm able to teleport to him via the Find Contact button as a Rogue. He is put into my Contacts list but doesn't give any missions. I'll also note that he gave missions to my Vigilante character just fine (so I presume the patch notes are slightly in error in that he's open for both Heroes and Vigilantes, not just Heroes).
  12. Westin Phipps.
  13. Well damn, I just tested it and it does, how about that. I based that on ATT/teleporting team members not working, so I had presumed Mark/Recall wouldn't. This speeds things up a lot! if this causes the merit reward at the end of the TF to be reduce I apologize in advance
  14. Two notes about Mark/Recall because I recently did a Katie Hannon TF: -Mark/Recall WON'T work on the escort in the second mission (Amy Jonsson) - that particular mission is hard-coded to require an escort to the entrance of the map since Live (because, iirc, it's considered an exploit on what is already a short task force). -Mark/Recall WILL work on the escort in the last mission (Katie's Spirit), BUT (and I admit I haven't been able to test this myself) only if she isn't aggro'd on an enemy mob. So clear out any nearby Red Caps, THEN free Katie, THEN Recall. Mark/Recall also works well on the fifth mission of the Moonfire TF, where you have to escort Dr. Todd back to the beginning of the map. Using Teleport Target/Assemble the Team to get her back to the entrance before the Council ambush waves hit is a common tactic, and why I think when you see her in John Houston's rogue-only arc in Independence Port, she has Teleport as a travel power.
  15. It's the Gunslinger that has a dialog reply when attacked ("You lookin' for Quatrexin? Sorry, but he's shipped his new power armor to Paragon City for a bit of field-testing! Of course, I cannot allow you to reach him!"). Usually you can find bosses that are objectives at the end of the map/on the last floor, so if you can jump to the end, you can start working backwards from there. That's a little tricky with Malta because there's no real visual distinction between Lt. Gunslingers and boss Gunslingers, which I think may be part of the point.
